Season's Greetings

I hope everyone has had a good holiday season so far. I love this inbetween Christmas and New Years time. I seems the world is a little more relaxed during this week. It's nice.

Today, I am visiting Blue Genie to pick up my paintings that are left over from the bazaar. I will be posting the availabe pieces on the site this week.

Take care.

***I Quit My Day Job***

This just in. Stephanie Nance has quit her day job in order to pursue her art full time. She feels terribly lucky to be in a position that enables her to do this. She will miss the steady paycheck, but feels that she will be successful and happy. At the end of October after a much needed tiny sabatical she will have TONS of new work to show you. So bear with her, as she is spread thinly right now, however, that is changing October 20th.

Cheers!

my new studio

i bought a trailer! it's being delivered tomorrow to Bella Blue. it's a vintage "canned ham" and is probably from the late 50's. it's already gutted, so all i have to do is customize it to my liking and i'll have a studio in BB's backyard! come visit me!!!

Sisters on the Fly

i have been invited to attend a neat event in Brownwood, Texas with Sisters on the Fly. They are a club of women who travel around in their tricked out vintage travel trailers. The coordinator has offered me a vintage trailer to stay in for the weekend and hang out with the ladeez. i will bring work to sell too. this is going to be fun and i am grateful for the opportunity. check out my links page for SOTF.

Fingers to the Bone

Believe it, in the last month I have had 2 shows and have sold most of the work from those two show. It's been great. However, I am left low on inventory.

I am working as fast as I can to produce more work for sale. Keep posted, as things change here almost weekly!!!!!!!!!

Hot Mamas

Yesterday I met a really swell lady who is opening a new coffee shop in the Pedernales Lofts on the East side soon. I highly recommend visiting her place starting in September if for nothing else than to meet a spirited, beautiful, & energetic woman. She purchased some paintings to display in the coffee shop and asked me to display more upon opening. She has just moved from Alaska and is very much enjoying the warmth Austin has to give.
